Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that all people have the right to child care, education, food, health care, housing, income, and support services regardless of ability, age, ancestry, citizenship, class, creed, culture, gender identification, language, record of offence, religion, sexual orientation, and socio-economic ability.
We believe that all individuals bring with them unique skills, strengths, talents and resilience. We recognize the impact that poverty, isolation, lack of access to basic life necessities, trauma, abuse and stigmatization have on mental health. We honour the unique stories of each individual and work to ensure that every voice is valued and heard.
We work with individuals to enhance their strengths and we support each person to grow and develop to their fullest potential. We collaborate with other services to address unjust social conditions and to build a community that promotes wellness and recovery.
